Media handover & Technical information

Please create your presentation in 16:9 format and submit it in advance of the conference via the upload centre (access available from April 2026). If it is not possible to upload your presentation in advance, you can of course also hand it in at the central media reception desk on site. Please check your presentation at the media reception at least 2 hours before your presentation, especially if you are using videos, audio files or special fonts.

For visual abstracts with/without short presentations, uploading must be done in advance of the conference; resubmission on site is not necessary. (see Notes on Visual Abstracts).

The preferred file format is .pptx, alternatively pdf files are also permitted. The use of other formats may lead to deviations due to conversion problems or may not be displayed.

Please ensure that texts, diagrams, illustrations etc. are of a sufficient size.

A notebook with PDF reader and Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 will be provided for your presentation.
Please note that for technical reasons, it is not possible to use your own laptop for presentations!

We will start your presentation in full screen and place a speaking time display (bottom right) over your presentation. The speaking time display will be shown automatically at the beginning and end of your presentation and will be seen by the chairperson and the auditorium.

For ecological reasons, we do not use printed speaker signs on the lectern. Therefore, please include your name on the start slide or at best as a footer in your presentation.
