Media handover & Technical information

Please create your presentation as a pptx file with a page format of 16:9. Alternatively, you can submit it as a pdf file. Using other formats may lead to deviations due to conversion problems or may not be playable. When creating your presentation, please ensure that the text, diagrams, illustrations, etc. are of sufficient size.

Please submit your finished presentation either in advance or during the conference via the upload centre (access available from the end of April 2026) or hand it in at the central media reception desk on site. To ensure that your presentation runs smoothly, we ask you in both cases to check your presentation at the media reception desk at least 2 hours before your presentation, especially if you are using videos, audio files or special fonts.

For visual abstracts with/without short presentations, uploading is mandatory in advance of the congress and resubmission on site is not necessary (see Notes on Visual Abstracts).

A notebook with PDF reader and Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 will be provided for your presentation.

Please understand that the use of your own laptop is not possible in order to ensure that the programme runs as smoothly as possible.

We will start your presentation in full screen mode and display a speaking time indicator (bottom right) over your presentation. The speaking time indicator will be displayed automatically at the beginning and end of your speaking time and will be visible to the chair and the audience.

For environmental reasons, we do not use printed speaker cards at the lectern. Therefore, please include your name on the start slide or, ideally, as a footer in your presentation.

Disclosure of COI

In accordance to international standards on the necessary transparency of potential conflicts of interest (COI), we ask you to disclose your business, personal and/or material relationships with industrial companies, consulting companies or funding organisations or sponsors of medical institutions in the context of your engagement.

For a presentation, please include the relevant declaration on a separate slide before your presentation!
