Congress scholarship of the DGHNO-KHC

(Christian Hempel scholarship from Fahl Medizintechnik GmbH)

The German Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DGHNO-KHC), Bonn, announces 10 congress scholarships (Christian Hempel scholarship of Fahl Medizintechnik GmbH) per year for the participation in the annual meetings of the society for the promotion of young ENT physicians.

The scholarship includes a lump sum of 400 EUR per scholarship holder. Reimbursement will be made upon final presentation of the original receipts. In addition, as students of human medicine, the scholarship recipients are exempt from the congress fee.

Submission Criteria:

  • Application deadline: September 15 to October 31, 2023
  • Applicant Requirements: 
    • Enrollment in a university with a degree program in human medicine at the time of application
    • Doctoral student in the field of otolaryngology at the time of application
    • Registration of a contribution (lecture or poster) on the doctoral topic (Abstract submission: September 15 to October 31, 2023 online via www.hno-kongress.de)

    • Cover letter with a brief description of your motivation for applying
    • Endorsement of the doctoral supervisor
    • Curriculum vitae including current contact details
    • Proof of current enrollment certificate (degree program in human medicine)

Since a large number of applications are expected, the scholarship holders will be selected after receipt of the application documents by a panel of judges appointed by the Executive Board. The applicants will then be informed of the decision in writing.
